I'm back to feeling like myself... after almost 11 months. I have the urge to go out with friends, dress up, wear something other than sweats... I feel like myself, and I feel great. I did turbo jam for awhile, got my stomach to where I wanted it, and then stopped. I should probably start back up again. When I do turbo jam I have to eat twice as many calories, or I lose weight. You'd think i'd be happy about that but seeing as I am already at 97 pounds, I'd rather not. You wanna see? Yeah you do...
I am wanting to get my belly button pierced for my birthday ... but we'll just see.
I've also started...gasp...tanning! I am SORRY but in the winter, I NEED to. It really makes me feel ten times better. Damn seasonal depression. It's either skin cancer, or miserable winters for the rest of my life. decisions decisions.
I bet you are all wondering where I have been for an entire month! One word. Anatomy. I have NEVER taken a course this hard in my life. We work with human cadavers and have to identify muscles, veins, arteries, and bones. Do you know what the inside of a human looks like? Turkey. Dark meat turkey. There are no fancy colors to let you know that red= arteries, blue= veins. It's just turkey. My favorite lady has her toenails still painted. She was 66 when she passed away from pancreatic cancer. It's not as gross as you would think, just emotionally scarring. And the smell, oh man.. the smell burns your nose and lingers for the entire day. My labs are SUNDAYS 8am-11:50 am. 4 hours is a long time to smell dead bodies. We have practicals every other week and exams on the weeks we don't have practicals. It's a lot of work, hence the no time to blog.
Aden is doing great. Still army crawling, not standing, but very very verbal. He can wave, high five, do "so big" and almost stand on his head.. he's crazy. Aden is with me Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, some Fridays, and the second half of the day Sunday. We have so much fun together!
Well, Aden is awake now! I'll try to update later.
